A Good Day
We celebrated Gary’s Birthday yesterday. Apparently 28 was a good year for him so he’s claiming 28 from now on. Which isn’t a bad idea, I was 28 when we were married. It was an excellent year for me as well.
Turned out to be a beautiful day, blue sky and all. Gary was in a particularly happy place most of the day. I think all the Happy Birthdays that came poring in from friends and family all day via snail mail, email, facebook, and the phone helped him feel appreciated. So thanks to everyone for making his day a good one.
P.S. Here is the recipe I used for his Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake. It was soooo goooood.
Happy 28th Birthday, Gary! I don’t know what age I would pick? I will have to try the cake…I love chocolate and peanut butter combination! Glad you had a sunny, happy day. 🙂
Happy Birthday Gary! That cake looked so good!!!
Okay, I’m a lame sister in law. Here is my belated birthday greetings. But you should know that it is in my calendar!!!! I promise. Being a single parent for a time makes you forgetful. It is frightening how each day my brain becomes smaller, and smaller . . . and smaller.
Looks and sounds like Gary had a wonderful day. I am just glad he is still in one piece after his Flipping Frenzy. Danette the cakes looks like a master piece. Love Mama Marcoccia
