On the Blog Again

line

Just can’t wait to get on the blog again… I’ve missed all my blogging buddies! Feeling a little melancholy though after saying goodbye to my sweet sister and her family. The Frandsen’s were very gracious hosts to us and we really enjoyed spending our time with them. Bailey and McKenna are great girls and fun companions for us and Ellie on all our adventures.

I’m planning on putting up quite a few post over the next few days because one post about our trip to Germany would be extremely overwhelming. So to start it all off here are some photos of The Barfuspfad and the Medieval Festival that I talked about in the previous post.

Welcome home! It looks like you guys had a great time. I can’t wait to see what else you did. Have you recovered and switch back to our timezone? Give me a call, and we can set up a time for us to venture your way!

  2. How fun! Barfuss = Barefoot. I knew this, but how cool is it that you got to go to a park with that name.

Wow such incredible pictures that seem in a different special time and place. So cool. You all look great. I imagine it was a little heartwrenching leaving your sister.

Heartwrenching is putting it mildly! Boy, you got some really cool shots of the fest, I love the shoes and the moon lady. But most of all I just loved the company! I’m going to have to hop over and copy some of your shots. We’ll keep checking in!

per your comment on my blog:

I am so glad to hear that I am not the only one that is afraid to do things that used to seem so fun. Do you think it is the motherly instincts that kick in…thinking who would be around to feed and care for them?
