From Wikipedia: “An equinox in astronomy is that moment in time (not a whole day) when the centre of the Sun can be observed to be directly above the Earth’s equator, occurring around March 20 and September 23 each year…

  1. As much as I love powder snow, I’m cringing at today’s storm 😐 The “spring inside” photo blows away the “spring outside” photo 😉

Welcome to Springtime in Utah! I decided that we needed to welcome the first day of Spring in style at work today. I arranged for everyone to bring toppings for Hawaiian Haystacks. I then made little bouquets of flowers with dollar store silk flowers and put them in little 5oz. paper cups using little jelly beans for dirt (they held the flowers up) and put one on each desk. Then, when I got up this morning and saw the snow on the car, I said, “Ugh!” and put on the brightest, summeriest (new word) yellow shirt I could find and decided to be the ray of sunshine at work today. We had a GREAT time! Now all we need for all the snow banks to shrink and let the flowers out!

Love that pic of Ellie. Her eyes are GREAT!!!

I absolutely loved Gary’s comment above. I totally agree!

I have that cute little headband for Evie too. SHe loves to wear it everywhere. I would be fun to get our little sunshines together someday!

Our spring looks a little bit different here!

Wow, so surreal about your snowstorm because we too had a storm last night that was probably the biggest one of the year. We woke up to a white Easter morning where we had the farthest thing from a white Christmas a few months ago. My girls put on their sleeveless Easter dresses with their big winter coats and caught snow flakes on their tongues.
